What to expect
The High Line is 1.45 miles long and was built on the basis of a freight railway line. The long and narrow pedestrian walkway shuttles between tall buildings and is covered with flowers and plants. Walking on the walkway, lying on the lawn chatting and reading or basking in the sun are all moments of enjoyment in the bustling city of New York. The High Line Park connects many scenic spots, and don’t miss the food and literary shops along the way. You can admire the blue of the Hudson River from the crevices of the tall buildings, visit the small galleries on 25th Street, the Whitney Museum of Art at the beginning, or try delicious handcrafted ice cream in the food section of the park.
