What to expect
Noboribetsuonsencho is a representative hot spring area in Hokkaido. This small town surrounded by mountains has large and small hot spring hotels, inns and various restaurants along the streets, while Jigokudani, Oyunuma, Noboribetsu Bear Ranch and other sightseeing tours. Points are also around the town.
There are many types of Noboribetsuonsencho, and there are 11 types of hot spring water. If it is snowing in winter, soaking in an open-air hot spring is extra romantic and comfortable.
Walking around the town, you can see many sculptures about ghosts, and there are various sacrifices in different seasons.
