What to expect

The Biwako Valley ropeway is the fastest in Japan, arriving at the top of the mountain in around 5 minutes.

Important Notes
※Cable cars depart every 15 minutes.
During peak periods such as weekends, the first departure time may be adjusted earlier based on morning conditions.
The last cable car to the summit departs at 16:00.
※Pets must be placed in a cage when riding the cable car. During ski operation periods, pets are not allowed in the entire Biwako Valley facility.
Smoking is prohibited while riding the cable car.
