What to expect

Sankeien is a Japanese-style traditional garden in Yokohama, Japan. There are various traditional Japanese-style ancient buildings in the garden. It is a very popular tourist attraction in Yokohama. Sankeien is also a sacred place for lovers in Yokohama. On weekends, traditional Japanese weddings are often held at Tsuruxiang Pavilion in Sankeien.

Things to note

• Pets (except guide dogs and hearing dogs) are not allowed into the park.
• In such cases, no compensation for transportation costs to the site will be provided.
• Please use the coin Locker(charges apply) next to the main entrance reception to store your luggage.

Due to natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances, the park may temporarily close or have shortened opening hours. In such cases, transportation costs to the site will not be compensated.
The operating days and hours for tea shops, museum stores, and matcha shops within the park vary by store.
Pets are not allowed. Pets are not permitted inside the attraction (except for guide dogs and hearing assistance dogs).
