What to expect
Fukuoka Dome was completed on April 2, 1993. Fukuoka Dome is one of Japan's "Five Domes", the other four are Sapporo Dome, Tokyo Dome, Nagoya Dome, and Osaka Dome. Fukuoka Dome is a Japanese stadium with a retractable roof, modeled after the Colosseum. The stadium is the largest baseball stadium in Japan and conforms to international standards. It is equipped with 5 large-scale broadcast screens that are the largest in the world. Not only sports events, but also concerts by well-known domestic and foreign artists are held. Fukuoka Dome is the home stadium of the SoftBank Eagles. In 2001, the total number of spectators in the 2001 season exceeded 3 million, reaching a record of 3 million in the history of the Pacific League. If you are going to watch a baseball game, same-day tickets are sold at the ticket booth next to YAHUOKU!DOME (GATE7). Ticket prices vary by race time and seat. Tickets are required to enter the venue for those over 4 years old. Payment can be made in Japanese yen or by credit card. Advance tickets can be purchased at each advance ticket purchase machine, related ticket sites, or convenience stores.
