What to expect
Beppu Tower was built in 1957 and was conceived as the central facility of the Beppu Onsen Tourism Industry Expo, with a height of 90 meters. Beppu Tourism Development, founded by local businessmen at the time, invested 280,000 yen. It was built for 10,000 yen. Beppu Tower is in a great location, located at the crossroads of the mountains and the sea in this small town of Beppu, close to the mountains and the sea, and is designated as a "registered cultural relic" in Japan.
