What to expect

Kanazawa Zoo, also known as Yokohama City Kanazawa Zoo, is a zoo that mainly houses herbivores. The zoo was founded in 1975 and is located in Kanazawa Nature Park, with an elegant environment and lush greenery. The park has four major animal habitat exhibition areas: the Americas, Eurasia, Oceania and Africa, exhibiting a variety of rare animals such as koalas, reticulated giraffes, gibbons, rhinos, Asian elephants, South American tapirs, etc. In addition, visitors can also get close to animals in the square where ponies, goats, sheep and other livestock gather in the park to feel the charm of nature.
