What to expect
MOA Museum of Art is a private art museum located in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. The museum has a collection of about 3,500 works, with a focus on oriental art, covering various fields such as painting, calligraphy, and crafts. In addition, it also includes Western paintings and sculptures collected in recent years. The main collections in the museum are three national treasures, including Ogata Korin's "Red and White Plum Blossom Screen", Nonomura Jinsei's "Painted Wisteria Teapot", and the calligraphy collection "Hanmo Castle", as well as 65 important cultural relics. There are also restaurants and souvenir shops in the museum.
