What to expect

Enoshima is a tombolo island connected to the mainland by a sandbar, located near the Shonan coast. It's the fishing spot frequently visited by Sendoh in the anime "Slam Dunk." The island features attractions like an aquarium, sea caves, and the Bell of Love, making it a perfect destination for couples and friends to explore together.

On clear days, you can also enjoy views of Mount Fuji. Enoshima is bustling in July and August, offering not only beach swimming but also excellent surfing spots along the beaches between Kamakura and Chigasaki. The island is lush with greenery, where humans and animals coexist harmoniously, and you'll often spot adorable cats and eagles.
