What to expect

The Page Museum is located in Los Angeles, USA. It is famous for its outdoor tar pit fossil site and is a representative natural history attraction. The tar pit outside the museum is still oozing oil, and is an important window to understand the ecology of the Ice Age. Visitors can watch 3D movies about the formation of the tar pit and paleontological discoveries in the museum, and can also appreciate the skeleton fossils of large mammals such as mammoths and giant ground sloths up close. There are also staff on site to clean and study the fossil laboratory, and the process is open to the public.
