Set off on a Green Island eco-adventure from Cairns and discover one of the Great Barrier Reef’s most beautiful island escapes. Immerse yourself in a tropical paradise teeming with over 120 native plant species, vibrant birdlife, lush coral gardens, and rich marine life.
Your cruise includes your choice of a guided glass bottom boat reef viewing tour and/or the use of snorkelling equipment, allowing you to explore the reef straight from the island’s white sandy beaches.
Spend your day your way—wander through the island’s lush rainforest on a self-guided walk, drift over coral gardens on a glass bottom boat, snorkel directly from the shore, or unwind with a refreshing swim in the island’s pool.
For those seeking extra adventure, a range of optional activities is available, including scuba diving, offshore snorkelling excursions, Seawalker helmet diving, kayaking, and scenic helicopter flights. You can also visit the unique Marineland Melanesia crocodile habitat located on the island.

Boat Schedule: Depart Cairns: 8:30am (arrive Green Island 9:15am) | 10:30am (arrive Green Island 11:15am)
Depart Green Island: 2:30pm (arrive Cairns 3:15pm) | 4:30pm (arrive Cairns 5:15pm)
Island Facilities: At Green Island, guests have access to restroom and freshwater shower facilities, exclusive use of the swimming pool, and a range of food and beverage outlets.
Weather & Safety: tours operate in most weather conditions. If safe to travel, departures proceed as scheduled, though activities may be adjusted due to sea state or visibility. If conditions are unsafe, departures may be delayed or cancelled. In this case, guests can reschedule (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.
