Commissioned by King Charles of Bourbon and designed by architect Luigi Vanvitelli, the Royal Palace of Caserta boasts over 1,200 rooms waiting to be discovered. Marvel at the Royal Apartments, adorned with frescoes, chandeliers, and luxurious gold decor. Ascend the immense Grand Staircase, with its parallel staircases, arches, and columns resembling a grand temple. Alessia adds, "Don’t forget to look up and see the painted dome – a false ceiling used by musicians to surprise guests with music." Visit the Royal Chapel and Theatre, a miniature version of Naples’ Teatro San Carlo.
