What to expect

Healthy and delicious food that is loved by the whole family, as well as the strong human touch, are what Zhang Zhengxiong and Ye Meiyue, the founders of Xingbao Onion Experience Farm, insist on. Zhang Zhengxiong, a retired engineer, returned to his hometown of Sanxing to grow onions. He extended his engineering research spirit to growing onions and his attention to the golden ratio of ingredients.

The Xingbao Onion Experience Farm uses "friendly farming methods" to grow Sanxing onions, allowing them to drink milk and grapefruit juice to grow. Manual weeding reduces the use of chemical fertilizers, allowing consumers to feel safer whether eating or experiencing the food, and it is also more friendly to the land and organisms. When making Sanxing Onion products, we carefully select the delicate one core and two leaves of Sanxing Onion, with the golden ratio of 1:1 between the white part and the green part, so as to fully retain the deliciousness and nutrition of Sanxing Onion.

The farm offers a Sanxing scallion experience and a variety of Sanxing scallion DIY products, including: Sanxing scallion pie, Sanxing scallion pancake, Sanxing scallion bread, and Sanxing scallion pizza; there are also cute Australian mini donkeys and naughty sika deer interactions; there is also a cafe. In order to provide more convenient services, street shops are now opened in Jiaoxi and Luodong, providing cooked food and frozen products.

Go to the farm to experience the food and agriculture education from farm to table, and have a variety of activities: Sanxing scallion is a unique agricultural product of Yilan. When you come to the hometown of Sanxing scallion, you can learn about Sanxing scallion and Yilan’s local environment through DIY activities such as Sanxing scallion field tour/scallion picking/scallion washing, and Sanxing scallion pie, Sanxing scallion bread, and Sanxing scallion pizza.

There are currently 5 sika deer and 6 mini donkeys (including 2 baby donkeys that just turned 1 year old). There is also a coffee shop with a comfortable environment. Different from "only feeding", professional tour guides let children and adults get to know animals in an interesting way. In 5 minutes, they can play closely with animals and establish the correct concept and method of getting along with animals in a friendly way.

• Due to the characteristics of the planting of Sanxing Onion, the field ridges are higher than those of other crops
• Do not let the children out of sight or around you
• Samsung onions are agricultural products and are greatly affected by the weather
• If you have children, it is recommended to bring an extra set of clothes and socks for them.
• Samsung onion fields are basically dry fields, but the characteristics of Samsung onions require them to be planted in outdoor areas
• When it rains, the farmland may be muddy and you need to change into rain boots.

• For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 must hold their hands or hold them in their arms throughout the entire process
