What to expect
Shoushan Zoo is located at No. 350, Wanshou Road, Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, at the foot of Shoushan Mountain. It has a beautiful environment and a vast space where animals can live in an environment close to nature.
Here, visitors can not only admire animals from all over the world, but also learn about their ecological habits and conservation stories. From tame little animals to majestic large mammals, each exhibition area is full of surprises and novelties, making you feel as if you are in a wonderful world full of vitality.
There are several themed areas in the zoo, such as the Friendly Animal Area, the Grassland Animal Area, the Taiwan Native Area and the Aquatic Animal Area. Each area showcases the unique ecosystem and animal community of the area.
Visitors can stroll through these areas, feel the atmosphere and customs of different regions, and observe the living conditions of various animals up close. This is a rare ecological education experience. In addition to viewing animals, Shoushan Zoo also has a children's ranch Boer sheep feeding experience, allowing visitors to have more intimate contact and interaction with the animals.
