What to expect
Located on Minquan Road, Tainan City, Taiwan, the Arphic Museum is a museum dedicated to preserving and displaying the history of sound. It brings together a variety of sound recording tools, from music boxes and phonographs to vinyl turntables and tapes, leading visitors through the long history of sound. There are multiple exhibition areas in the museum, showing the development of sound, from ancient chimes to modern audio equipment, each exhibit carries the memory of the times. It is particularly worth mentioning that it houses one of the few 20-inch records left in the world, as well as precious cultural relics such as phonographs that combine storage functions. Visitors can not only watch the exhibits here, but also listen to the echoes of history through the sounds played on site. In addition, the museum also provides Guide Service to help visitors better understand the stories and cultural values behind the exhibits. In short, the Arphic Museum is a cultural attraction that is worth visiting for music and history lovers.
