What to expect
The stream in the Shuangliu National Forest Recreation Area is a characteristic. The Shuangliu Waterfall is about 25 meters high, with plenty of water, and the white water rushing down is huge. At this time, the waterfall is like a yarn, and the spectacular scenery is amazing. The trail from the entrance area along the stream to the waterfall area has beautiful scenery along the way. There are rest seats and rain shelters (rest pavilions) along the way when you are tired. Maoshan Mountain is the highest point here, with an altitude of about 650 meters. Walking in the quiet forest trail, breathing the natural oxygen bar, you can also sit in the pavilion stone chairs to enjoy the coolness and leisure for a while. Along the way, you can also experience the fun of watching butterflies, wading in streams, and playing in the water. In addition, there are the remains of historic slate houses to visit.
