What to expect
This museum, located in Taipei, Taiwan, is dedicated to the artifacts and history of Taiwan's indigenous peoples. It opened in June 1994 under the auspices of the Lin Nai-wen Cultural and Educational Foundation with funding from Shung Ye Automobile Company, covering an area of approximately 300 ping. The museum's collections and activities are organized based on anthropological principles. The museum is divided into four main sections: Indigenous Peoples and the Natural Environment, Life and Utensils, Clothing and Culture, and Beliefs and Rituals. The museum's architecture uniquely blends indigenous cultural elements with modern design.
