The temple is located in the east-west direction, facing the lake and backed by the mountain, which is very impressive. Wenwu Temple is built on the mountain. Visitors can walk to the top of the temple. There is a viewing platform (observation platform) on the top floor of the hall in front of the Luster Gate. The high view and the strong Chinese-style architecture are the beautiful views of Sun Moon Lake.
