With your day admission ticket, explore the Alhambra, the Generalife, and the Nasrid Palaces at your own pace. Discover the Nasrid Palaces, the historic residence of Granada’s kings, and wander through the Alcazaba fortress, the Palace of Charles V, and the Baths of the Mosque. Stroll through the beautiful gardens of the Generalife and admire the intricate Moorish architectural style throughout the complex, from the royal residences to the defensive structures. Learn about the Alhambra’s fascinating history as a fortress, palace, and citadel, originally built in 889 A.D. and home to Moorish kings, sultans, officials, and their households.

Things to note

• Photography is allowed in most areas, but flash and tripods may be restricted.
• Tickets are valid for the full day; you can explore at your own pace.
• The Alhambra is a large site with uneven paths—comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
• Some areas may have limited accessibility for those with mobility challenges.
• Arrive early to avoid crowds, especially in the Nasrid Palaces.

Terms & conditions

• Tickets for children from 3 to 11 years old must be booked at the time of purchase and managed with the rest of the adult tickets
• Tickets for children under 3 years of age will be provided at the monument ticket offices or at the monument entrances. No prior reservation is required
• The time slot chosen at the time of booking is your entry time to Nasrid Palaces. It is binding and can not be changed. You can visit Alcazaba, Partal, and Generalife on the same day during the opening hours: Monday to Sunday 8:30 AM-6:00 PM (October 15 to March 31) and Monday to Sunday 8:30 AM-8:00 PM (April 1 to October 14)
• Baby carriers are available for visitors to borrow at the cloakroom next to the Puerta del Vino. The use of baby strollers is not allowed in the Nasrid Palaces, Generalife Palace, Alcazaba, and Partal
• There are free cloakrooms service that are available upon presentation of an official day ticket
