This is a space where history and art intertwine, showcasing contemporary art and crafts within buildings primarily constructed during the Taisho to Showa periods.
The Stained Glass Museum brilliantly showcases the dazzling splendor of traditional stained glass that once adorned British churches.
The former Mitsui Bank Otaru branch building, designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, is renowned for its exquisite architectural design.Must-see attractions.
The Nitori Art Museum displays a diverse collection of artworks from Japan and abroad, including Japanese and Western paintings, sculptures, and innovative stained glass works by Louis C. Tiffany.
The Western Art Museum exhibits stained glass from Europe and America, along with glassware and furniture in Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles.
At the Ukiyo-e Museum, you can enjoy special exhibitions of the collection, as well as permanent displays featuring high-resolution reproductions and tool samples.
