About this experience

Morning:


8:00 - 8:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Ha Noi City.


8:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, West Lake – Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, dating back to the 6th century.


9:30: Ho Chi Minh Complex: Visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (if open), stilt house, gardens, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.


Note:Dress modestly (cover shoulders to knees) when visiting the mausoleum, temples & pagodas.


- The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.


- The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is usually closed for annual maintenance. (you can still take photos and visit the area).


11:15: Explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and discover the rich traditions of all 54 ethnic groups across the country.


Note: On Mondays, visit the Women’s Museum instead of the Ethnology Museum.


Lunch: 


Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with many traditional local foods.


Afternoon: 


14:00 - 14:15: Continue to the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university, built in the 11th century.


15:00: Visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum – former colonial prison and “Hanoi Hilton” for U.S. POWs during the war.


16:15 - 16:30: End of the tour. See you again on the next journey!


Note: The order of the visited sites may be adjusted due to traffic conditions, weather, or the availability of space at the attractions, but all destinations will be included.

  • The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Dress modestly, especially when visiting temples and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (cover shoulders to knees).
  • Some museum exhibits may be emotionally intense, especially at Hoa Lo Prison.
  • Tours operate in most weather conditions, so bring a raincoat or umbrella if needed.
