7:30 - 8:00 Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi. During the drive to Ninh Binh province, you will have the opportunity to capture the beauty of Vietnam's rice fields and see hard-working farmers in action. 10:30 Arrival in Ninh Binh, where we will visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. Here, you will have the chance to learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal period under the Dinh and Le dynasties. 12:00 We will have a buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and steam rice. All are local special cuisine. Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch Following lunch, we will head to Tam Coc by a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride. You will be amazed by the stunning natural beauty of the area, including the picturesque paddy fields, river, water, clouds, sky, and a mesmerizing cave system. The Vietnamese people call this area "Ha Long Bay on land”. After the boat ride, we will spend around 45 minutes cycling around the village to discover the local people's way of life and see the rice paddies and deserted green fields. 16:00 We will drive back to Hanoi, which takes approximately 2 hours. You will arrive at your hotel in Hanoi at around 18:30, concluding a meaningful and memorable day of discovery in Ninh Binh province.
