About this experience

Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura is a theme park that reproduces the culture and life of the Edo period. The streets, checkpoints, streets, inn streets, Shitamachi (Ichii Street), Samurai Residence Street, etc. are reproduced in the park as they were at the time. Passing through the checkpoints (entrances) is like going back in time to the Edo period. There are also many events such as water art performances that have been passed down since the Edo period, gorgeous oiran parades, and many other events. At the "Great Ninja Theater" and "Ninja Crow House", you can also watch quite realistic ninja performances up close. All places in the park have become a theater space, with authentic Edo people of various occupations, and "Nanjing jade curtains" (bamboo curtains about 30cm long in hand, which change into fishing rods, bridges, weeping willows, flags, etc. according to the singing content) Shape skills) and other street performers that are characteristic of Edo. There are about 400 sets of costumes and props such as samurai and Hime in the costume shop, and you can also challenge yourself to dress up as an Edo person. There are also open-air shops selling dango and freshly baked manju, specialty goods stores, and you can enjoy gourmet food and shopping.
