The famous wine town of Langenlois is less than an hour from Vienna, and the LOISIUM WineExperience & Vinotheque invites you to see, taste and explore the fascinating world of wine. Discover 900 years of wine making history in a modern winery with a unique sparkling wine cellar. Plus, sample three different types of the good stuff when you ́re done!Since opening in 2003, LOISIUM WineExperience has become one of the best destinations for wine lovers. This experience takes you right wine - in fact, your trip here will take you through an underground wine labyrinth, 900 years old and 1.5 km long.Enjoy an audio guide in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, Czech, Polish or Russian, as you wander the vines and ponder the nuances of grape varieties and production methods. After soaking up all that knowledge you'll be ready to soak up some wine, and three different types of wine are your reward at end of your study of wine-making.

Join an unforgettable wine experience with an interactive audio guide leading you on a tour through 900-year-old wine cellars.

A fascinating and entertaining journey through time and the history of wine that will take you to interactive stations and offer you a glimpse into the cellars of the Steininger winery.

The intriguing world of WeinWelt holds numerous highlights—including 1.5km of barrel-lined subterranean corridors with 18 stations and a vintner’s house from 1924, giving you an idea of the life and winemaking the past.

Things to note

• The tour involves a significant amount of walking, particularly through the 1.5km of cellar corridors.
• While a sample of two wines is included, additional food and beverages are not included in the ticket price and must be purchased separately.
• Comfortable shoes suitable for walking are highly recommended for navigating the cellar corridors.
• The cellar is kept at a cool 10°C, so bring a jacket.
