Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is Vietnam's first semi-wild animal care and conservation park, spread across 380 hectares in the northern part of Phu Quoc Island, roughly an hour's drive from Phu Quoc International Airport. What to expect
Your visit centres on the "humans caged, animals free" concept: board the safari bus and ride through open semi-wild enclosures where Bengal tigers, lions, rhinos, leopards and antelope roam within metres of your window, separated only by glass. On foot in the Open Zoo, shaded trails wind past oryx, gaur, tapir and bongo, while the primate area houses chimpanzees, langurs and yellow-cheeked gibbons, the bird garden holds macaws, crowned cranes and ibises around Flamingo Lake, and the reptile house displays Aldabra tortoises, chameleons and pythons. Time your route around the Animal Show at the stage behind Flamingo Restaurant (10:00–10:30 and 14:00–14:30) and the African-inspired Zulu Dance performances at the Main Gate and Bird Garden (09:20, 11:20 and 15:30). Between sightings, break for lunch at Giraffe Restaurant or Flamingo & Rhino Restaurant, and browse nature-inspired souvenirs at Safari Store.
