What to expect
See Ubud's Monkey Forest, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and Tegenungan Waterfall on a full-day tour from Ubud. Enjoy a jungle swing, visit the Holy Water Temple, and stop at an art village of your choice.
Start with a visit to the Ubud Monkey Forest, a small rainforest home to a group of monkeys and other tropical animals. Then, head to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a tourism site's dream to visit, because it offers the charm of a very enchanting view of the rice fields.
Next, visit the Bali Swing, a swing activity that you may have done as a child. Enjoy the cool breeze in the rice fields and the sound of water flowing in the river near this rice field.
Continue to the Tirta Empul Temple, built around the sacred spring at Tampak Siring. For more than a thousand years, Balinese worshipers have been drawn to Tirta Empul Temple whose sacred spring is said to have been created by Indra and to have curative properties.
The tradition continues almost unchanged at the temple today. Over 1000 years old, the temple and its two bathing places have been used by the people for good health and prosperity because of the spring water's curative powers.
Finally, visit Tegenungan Waterfall, one of the few waterfalls in Bali that isn't situated in the highlands or mountains. Take a bath in this amazing and beautiful waterfall.
