What to expect
Hotel pickup takes place 2 hours before the scheduled tour time. We provide a safe ride with an English-speaking driver in a comfortable car/minivan in a group of maximum 8 people. The route from Krakow to Auschwitz takes 1.5 hours.
The driver will take you to the entrance and give you tickets. Then you will have a security check similar to the one at the airport. ID cards will also be checked. The tour takes place in a 30-person group with a local guide. Each participant receives headphones.
The first part of the tour is Auschwitz 1 - it lasts about 2 hours. Then there will be a 15-minute break during which the driver will take you to the second part of the museum - Birkenau. You will spend about 1 hour here.
After the tour, the driver will take you back to the hotel.
