What to expect
Discover the incredible oasis of Wadi Shab — one of the last places in Oman where you can relax in fresh blue water surrounded by mountains. Enjoy a rewarding full-day experience exploring a spectacular waterfall hidden inside a cave.
Start with pickup from Muscat and travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle on a scenic 2-hour drive. Along the way, stop for traditional Omani tea.
At Wadi Shab, take a short boat ride and begin a 40-minute hike one way through the canyon. The trail leads you through impressive rock formations and natural pools.
To reach the famous cave waterfall, you must swim through the clear turquoise water, as the cave is accessible only by swimming. After enjoying the waterfall, return along the same 40-minute hiking route back to the starting point.
Reach the famous turquoise pools and swim through clear water to access the hidden cave waterfall — the true highlight of the tour. On the way back, stop at Bimmah Sinkhole before returning to Muscat.
Tour Options:
Option 1 – Hotel Pickup: Pickup and drop-off within our Muscat zone.
Option 2 – Meeting Point: Pickup from our designated meeting point in Muscat.
Option 3 – Wadi Shab Only: Guests arrive independently to Wadi Shab, where the guide meets and accompanies them.
Option 4 – Cruise Passengers Only: Pickup exclusively from the cruise port at the scheduled time.
Option 5 – Private Tour: A fully private experience with a dedicated guide and vehicle.

Terms & conditions
• To fully participate in this tour, you should be in good physical condition, as it includes approximately 80 minutes of hiking (in both ways) and an extended swim from the shore to a cave with a waterfall, accessible only by swimming
• During the month of Ramadan, this tour does not include lunch
• Pickup Information (Option with Hotel Pickup)* Our pick-up service begins 30 to 60 minutes before the tour start time. Please be ready in your hotel lobby or designated pick-up location during this window. Look for a vehicle with our company logo and a friendly driver who will confirm your booking details.
• We will send your exact pick-up time via WhatsApp, so please ensure the phone number you provided during booking is correct and active.
• Kindly remember to take all your personal belongings with you, as the Gidoman team cannot be held responsoble for any items left behind
•For private tours of up to 6 people, the tour will be conducted in a vehicle Land Cruiser or similar.
