On this information-packed tour with a professional guide you will learn how the evolution of the Old Course developed significant elements of the game we know and love, making St Andrews the Home of Golf.
Dispelling the myths, the tour opens with important St Andrews history and the unfolding development of the game we know and love.
The tour starts with panoramic views of the Links land with its 6 golf courses (4 on links land), and takes in the 18th green, the 1st tee with the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse as the backdrop, the 1st and 18th fairways, and Road hole memories with a photo shoot on the Swilkan Bridge to finish (excludes tournament days). You can then enjoy refreshments overlooking the 17th fairway (not included) at the famed Old Course Jigger Inn.

As it states on the website, this tour is NOT suitable for those with walking difficulties. This includes those with walking aids such as crutches, walking frames and mobility scooters.
• Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
• Tours not suitable for children under 5 years of age
• No alcohol should be consumed on the tour and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated
• Anyone under the influence of alcohol may be asked to leave without a refund
• As part of your tour, you will be by the Old Course and walk across the 1st/18th Fairway. You will do this at your own risk and you must keep an eye out for golf balls during live play!
