What to expect
On Castle Road between the castle and St. Mary's Church, you meet your guide who will firstly tell some tales of Scarborough Castle, Anne Bronte's Grave and St Mary's Church. You will then look out to sea, and see if you can see the ghost of something that existed over 150 years ago.
Following this, you will walk down a rather steep, cobbled hill leading to a staircase with a funny name, but a very dark secret (but don't worry, even we won't walk down there!).
Now on flat ground, we will uncover the secrets of Quay Street, walk along Foreshore Road, talking of all the other haunted buildings and sights along the way, including the tragic tale of the Pink lady. You walk will end on Foreshore Road, with a tale of the castle that we dare not tell at the top of the hill, a tale of the most vicious ghost in Scarborough.
On this tour there is nobody hiding around the corner, nobody is going to jump out at you. So if you see something unusual, or feel a tingle on the back of your neck... You might want a change of underwear!

Whilst we aim to make our tour as accessible as possible, please note that there are no stairs on the route. However, the walk does include going down a steep, cobbled hill, as well as cobbled streets and some older curbs that require careful navigation.
