Experience the breathtaking beauty of Kintamani without the exhausting uphill trek. Our Mount Batur Sunrise 4x4 Jeep Adventure takes you on an exhilarating off-road ride up the slopes of Bali’s most active volcano in a rugged, classic 4-wheel-drive vehicle.
You will cruise through the misty morning air to reach a spectacular sunrise viewing point positioned halfway up the mountain. Watch the sky transform into vibrant shades of orange, pink, and purple above a sea of clouds, with Mount Abang and Mount Agung framing the horizon. Following the sunrise, the journey continues down into the volcanic caldera to explore the dramatic, otherworldly landscape of the Black Lava and Black Sand fields—remnants of the volcano's historic eruptions.

What to expect
Very Early Start: To catch the sunrise, hotel pickups from South Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu) usually begin between 2:30 AM – 3:15 AM. If you choose to meet directly at our Kintamani base camp, arrival time is strictly 4:30 AM.
Cold Temperatures: The morning weather in the Kintamani highlands can drop down to 12°C to 15°C before sunrise. We highly recommend wearing a warm jacket, long pants, and closed-toe shoes.
Dusty Environment: The black sand and lava fields can get very dusty, especially when driving behind other vehicles. Bringing a face mask or bandana and sunglasses is highly recommended.
What to Pack: A warm jacket, sunglasses, camera/smartphone, extra cash for personal expenses, and a light jacket change if you plan to visit the hot springs afterward.

Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time for a 100% full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour, or no-shows at the time of pickup, are completely non-refundable.
Weather & Visibility: Mountain weather is unpredictable. While we check forecasts daily, we cannot guarantee 100% perfect visibility or a completely clear sunrise. The tour operates rain or shine unless conditions are deemed physically unsafe by our head driver team.
Route & Safety Adjustments: Local authorities or environmental conditions may occasionally restrict access to certain paths on the volcano. Our drivers reserve the right to alter the off-road route slightly to prioritize guest safety.
Physical Constraints: Due to the bumpy, off-road nature of the 4x4 jeep ride, this tour is strictly not recommended for pregnant women, infants under 2 years old, or individuals suffering from severe back, neck, or spinal issues. All participants travel at their own risk.
