What to expect
Take part in an 11-hour combination tour. Visit Auschwitz-Birkenau for a tour of the museum and site, and then continue later on with the opportunity to explore the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
First, you’ll stop at Auschwitz I, where you will join a 2.5-hour English tour, provided by the museum’s guide. After that, the tour continues at Auschwitz II-Birkenau, which is about 2 kilometers away.
You’ll spend about an hour with the same guide and explore the site while hearing about its history.
During the second half of your full-day program, you’ll travel to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, which is one of the oldest working salt mines in the world. It has been producing table salt for over 700 years!

The English-speaking tour of the Mine will begin around 1-2 PM.
Head 140 meters underground on a 2.5-hour journey along more than 2.5 kilometers of tourist routes and see chambers with amazing carvings and statues, with everything made of salt.
You should arrive back at your hotel no later than 19:30 (usually around 5-5:30 PM).
Your exact pickup time will be confirmed via SMS 12 hours before the tour begins. The pickups are between 6:00-7:30, but sometimes might be earlier than 6:00. • Please be ready outside your hotel at the time indicated on your final confirmation (local time). Allow up to 15-minute delay for any traffic problems or last-minute changes. Contact the local supplier's emergency line if necessary. Please note that in case of your absence at the pickup point, your tour will be marked as a no-show with no refund possible.
Please note that if your hotel is located in the city center or the Jewish Quarter, the pickup will be directly from the accommodation, but after the tour, you might be dropped off at the closest drop-off point.

Each participant is required to provide their full name as it appears on their official ID during the booking process.
Any errors in names or failure to provide this information at least 24 hours before the tour may result in denied entry to the museum.

• As per the requirements of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, all participants are required to provide their full name and contact details while booking.
• Entrance may be refused if the name provided on the booking is not identical to the name on the ID provided when entering. Change of this data is possible for an additional fee paid to the supplier.
• Owing to the requirements, all tickets to the museum are non-refundable. Please consider your purchase carefully.
• To reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), there are 378 stairs. The whole route has around 800 steps. After the tour, you will be taken up to the surface by a lift.
• Your exact pickup time will be confirmed via SMS 12 hours before the tour begins. The pickups are between 5:30 and 7:30. •
