What to expect
Your guide will meet you at the entrance to the museum and you start your tour into the past. During your 1,5-hour museum tour you will discover a unique archaeological reserve in Europe, covering nearly 43,000 sq.ft (4000 sq.m). It was fashioned under the surface of the Main Market Square to provide a display for the treasures that had been found and narrate the turbulent history of Medieval Krakow.
The oldest history is exemplified by reconstructions of 11th-century burials presented in the exhibition. See the treasures hidden underground, learn a lot with the help of touchscreens, holograms, projections and documentary films. At the end of the tour, when you go to the surface again, you will see Krakow from a new perspective.
