Unlike ordinary Aurora tours that rely mostly on luck, we actively track conditions throughout the evening using live space weather data, solar wind forecasts, cloud maps, satellite imagery, aurora activity models, and local weather forecasts to find the clearest skies and strongest Aurora activity possible.
Our Aurora hunts are made for travelers who want a true Northern Lights chasing experience, not just a standard sightseeing tour. We may travel deep into the Lapland wilderness, far away from city lights, and when needed, even cross the border into Sweden to maximize your chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis.
During the tour, you can enjoy warm drinks, snacks, and professional photos while our guides share stories about Lapland, Arctic life, and the science behind the Northern Lights.
Our Small-Group Tour, limited to only 8 guests, offers the most flexible and personal Aurora hunting experience. Smaller groups allow us to react quickly to changing weather conditions, access more remote locations, and maximize your chances of finding clear skies and strong Aurora activity.

If we do not see the Northern Lights with the naked eye or on camera, you will receive a full refund.
If weather conditions look very poor, we will inform you honestly before departure. You can then choose between a full refund, joining the adventure or reschedule another day. No matter the conditions, we always do everything possible to find clear skies and Aurora activity.
Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can appear very differently from night to night. During bright moonlight, especially when the moon is half full or brighter, the Aurora may only be visible on camera. In these situations, camera visibility counts as a successful sighting.
The Aurora hunt can last up to 10 hours and is not suitable for very small children. Children under 6 years old are not allowed on small-group tours, and children under 4 years old are not allowed on bus tours.

The tour runs only in favorable weather conditions to maximize Aurora chances
Departure is usually between 16:00–22:00 depending on forecasts and space weather activity
Small-Group Tour lasts approx. 4–12 hours with max. 8 guests for a flexible and highly personalized Aurora chase
Bus Tour lasts approx. 3–8 hours with up to 55 guests in a comfortable group setting
Small-Group pickup and drop-off from accommodation within 10 km of Rovaniemi city center
