Admire the city walls of Dubrovnik's Old Town on a guided kayaking tour. Swim and snorkel at Betina Cave, which is accessible only by sea, and take in stunning views of Lokrum Island.

What to expect

You can reach us through the park under the Pile Gate (https://shorturl.at/bPRFk) or you can come to the pier next to restaurant ORHAN (https://shorturl.at/enHsV) and then take a left - small passage around the wall to the beach with the kayaks and look for Adventure Dalmatia.

• You can put your personal belongings (like bags and clothes) in a waterproof bag - 60l - (that we will provide) and bring them with you on the kayak
• We usually form small groups to ensure a better experience for everyone. However, in some cases—when the sea is not calm or a lot of beginners/kids in a group etc — groups can go up to 20 people
• Basic knowledge of English is recommended for participants, especially for people with no previous experience in kayaking.
• NOT SUITABLE for people with MOTION/SEA SICKNESS, LOW FITNESS, heart problems, back problems.
• Unfortunately, there are no changing rooms or toilets available due to city regulations and the site’s proximity to the Old Town
• A public shower is available nearby
• All participants must follow the safety instructions provided by the guide
• Parking is very expensive around the Old Town and only possible in special parking garages/places like https://www.bestinparking.com/hr/hr/garage/garaza-iiijina-glavi which is 15min away on foot from the starting point, it is better to use an Uber or a bus

Take a swim and snorkel break in Betina Cave before returning to the starting point.

Begin at the small beach in Pile bay, just beneath the western entrance of the Old Town. After the safety/instructional session, paddle beneath the city walls until you reach the cave beach known as Betina, where you will take a short 20-to-30-minute swimming and snorkelling break. After the break we will paddle towards the Lokrum island enjoying the beautiful views and stories before returning back to the starting point.

Terms & conditions
A good level of fitness is required, you need to be able to paddle for 1.5 hours (with breaks)
You will get wet up to your waist, so dress accordingly
We use sit-on-top double kayaks (two people per kayak)
Single kayak is only used in a specific situation and cannot be requested
Please check the weather forecast (especially for wind if you don't have any previous experience and or planning to do the tour with children) before making a reservation. We do our best to cancel tours in advance due to bad weather, but sometimes cancellations may occur shortly before the tour begins. In such cases, you may reschedule or receive a refund
A minimum of 4 participants is required for the tour to run. If the minimum is not met, the tour will be cancelled and you may reschedule or receive a refund
A small child (minimum age 5) can sit in the middle of the kayak
Non-swimmers can join the tour if sea conditions are calm. When the sea is choppy, a refund or rescheduling will be offered
