Day 1: Aswan Arrival and Temples Tour
Our representative will pick you up from your accommodation in Aswan to begin your private tour with a professional Egyptologist. Start at the High Dam, a modern feat offering sweeping views of Lake Nasser.
Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries to learn how colossal monuments were carved and why this one was abandoned. Ride a motorboat to the island of Philae, where the Temple of Isis rises from the water with beautifully preserved reliefs and colonnades.
After the tour, transfer to your 5-star Nile cruise to check in, relax, and enjoy lunch and dinner onboard as you settle into river life.
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2: Abu Simbel and Kom Ombo
Very early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from the cruise ship to begin your visit to one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring sites: the Abu Simbel Temples. After a scenic 4-hour drive in a private air-conditioned vehicle, you’ll reach the twin temples carved into the mountainside by Ramses II. Walk through the enormous halls and admire the colossal statues that guard the entrance, a truly unforgettable experience.
After your visit, return to the cruise ship to relax and enjoy lunch onboard as you begin sailing.
In the afternoon, arrive at Kom Ombo, where your guide will take you to visit the unique double temple shared by Sobek.
Reboard to continue sailing toward Edfu, enjoying the river scenery and dinner onboard.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Edfu Temple and Sail to Luxor
After breakfast, take a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu’s Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best preserved. Towering pylons, crisp inscriptions, and intact courts reveal myths of Horus and Set and the rituals of the Ptolemaic era.
Next, return to the cruise for a leisurely day on the Nile. As the ship glides past palm groves and villages, enjoy lunch and dinner onboard, arriving in Luxor by evening.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4: Balloon at Sunrise and Full Luxor Tour
Before sunrise, transfer to the launch site for a hot air balloon ride over Luxor. Float above green fields, desert hills, and temple silhouettes as the first light washes the West Bank. After landing, return to the ship for breakfast and check-out, then meet your private guide at 9:00 AM for a full-day tour.
Begin at the Valley of the Kings, entering a selection of richly decorated New Kingdom tombs.
Continue to the cliff-hewn Temple of Hatshepsut, then pause at the monumental Colossi of Memnon for a quick visit.
Next, Break for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, head to the East Bank to visit Karnak Temple — Egypt’s largest temple complex, built over more than 1,500 years. Walk through its massive columns, open-air courtyards, and sacred lakes.
Finally, visit Luxor Temple.
