What to expect
Early in the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan or bus for the scenic drive to Cairo.
Once you arrive, meet your guide and head straight to the Giza Plateau. Explore the ancient wonders of Giza, including the Pyramids, the oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, and visit the mortuary temples of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus while learning about their construction and the legends surrounding them.
Continue to the iconic Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple, attributed to Pharaoh Khafre, and marvel at these incredible feats of ancient engineering. Want more? Extend your experience with an optional camel or horse ride (available as an add-on).
Next, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, you can choose to enjoy a memorable boat ride on the Nile River (available as an add-on).
From there, head to Tahrir Square to visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the world's largest collection of Egyptian antiquities. Prefer the New Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) instead? Simply select the option "Shared Tour + Lunch + Entrance Fees & Grand Egyptian Museum."
After the museum, enjoy a shopping stop before heading back to Hurghada, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
