What to expect
Discover a home in the icy wilderness on a guided trip to a reindeer ranch owned by the Sami people. Get close to a herd of 300 wild reindeer and let them eat straight from your hands. Enter a traditional hut and warm up with a meal before listening to cultural songs and stories.
Set off from Tromso and travel through beautiful scenic landscapes before arriving at the nearby ranch. Call out and watch the peaceful reindeer approach as you feed them from your hands.
Be invited into a typical hut to be served warm drinks. Learn about the lives of the Sami people as you tuck into a traditional meal cooked over the fire.
