Join an unforgettable full-day adventure through some of Norway’s most dramatic landscapes. The itinerary combines Norway’s most scenic train journeys, the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord cruise, and a cultural visit to the Viking Village, making it one of the most complete fjord experiences you can have in a single day from Bergen.
The tour starts in Bergen city centre, where you’ll meet your guide at the Guided Fjord Tours Office before setting off towards the fjord region.
Depending on the season, the journey includes a stop either in the charming town of Voss, surrounded by mountains and lakes, or at the spectacular Tvindefossen Waterfall, one of Norway’s most iconic waterfalls and a perfect photo opportunity.
During the day, you will visit the Viking village of Njardarheimr in Gudvangen. Here, you’ll step back in time and explore authentic surroundings while learning about daily life during the Viking Age in Norway through a guided tour.
You will also experience a Premium Fjord Cruise on the breathtaking Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in the world and part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. The cruise takes place on a modern electric vessel with large panoramic windows and an outdoor deck, ideal for enjoying the scenery and capturing unforgettable photos of steep mountainsides, hanging valleys, waterfalls, and towering peaks.
In Flåm, beautifully situated between dramatic mountain landscapes, you’ll experience one of Norway’s most famous highlights and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this fjord village.
Another major highlight of the day is the legendary Flåm Railway, one of the world’s steepest railways on standard tracks. This spectacular 20-kilometre journey takes you through impressive mountain scenery, including a stop at the famous Kjosfossen Waterfall, one of the most photographed waterfalls in the country.
Throughout the day, you’ll travel by a combination of comfortable panorama bus, scenic railways, and fjord cruise, ensuring a varied and memorable journey through Western Norway’s stunning natural landscapes before returning to Bergen in the evening.

Terms & conditions
Food is not included, but there will be several opportunities to purchase food during the day. Your guide will inform you about this on the tour.
In the winter months October to April, the trip may have to be adapted to the weather conditions. This means that there may be alternative photo stops and changes to the fjord cruise route due to ice on the fjord.
The stop on the bus transfer varies by season: Voss in winter and Tvindefossen Waterfall in summer.
Depending on the season and timetable, this tour may operate in either direction - starting with the Flåm Railway and ending with the Viking Village, or starting with the Viking Village and ending with the Flåm Railway.
