Cruise the Brisbane River to Meet Australia’s Most Iconic Wildlife
Step aboard the Mirimar II at our convenient departure point in the heart of Brisbane City and enjoy a scenic and relaxing 5.5-hour cruise experience to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
As you travel along the Brisbane River, your captain will provide an informative commentary as you pass from the city’s vibrant skyline to the tranquil, leafy suburbs dotted with riverside homes. During the 75-minute cruise, you can purchase freshly made morning teas, light meals, and snacks from our fully licensed onboard café.
Upon arrival at Lone Pine, you’ll have three hours to explore the world’s largest koala sanctuary, home to over 130 koalas and a wide range of native Australian wildlife. Don’t miss the Koala Encounter, where you can get up close to one of these iconic marsupials resting on a natural tree branch – perfect for a unique and memorable photo opportunity (additional cost).
