What to expect
Explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Mallacoota on a nature tour with Sapphire Nature Tours. Immerse yourself in the wilderness and marvel at the towering forests of large eucalyptus trees, stunning coastal vistas, and abundant wildlife. Keep an eye out for the adorable koalas and lyrebirds as you soak in the tranquility of this awe-inspiring location.
Visit the beaches along the southern coast of Mallacoota and walk some of the forest trails as well as along the boardwalk. Keep a look out for some of the more interesting bird life.
On the return journey, visit the historic Seahorse Inn and Boyd Town, built in 1843. Hear the fascinating history of how Boyd Town was established. And we will drop in to gorgeous Quarantine Bay for a few photos and to spot one of Australia's largest stingrays.
Wear walking shoes and bring a water bottle. Water and binoculars can be supplied if required. Some walking fitness is required (around 5 km) although walking is optional. Enjoy lunch at a local cafe.
Tour leaves from Merimbula or Eden in New South Wales. This tour is also offered as a shore excursion from the Port of Eden in New South Wales.
Terms & conditions
Some walking fitness is required (around 5km) for the tour however we can minimise the walking if you have prefer to walk less. The experience will be enhanced if you can get in and out of the Mercedes Sprinter van and every effort will be made to cater for your limitations.
