What to expect
Day 1: Perth to Fitzgerald River National Park
Your adventure begins early, leaving Perth for York, WA’s oldest inland town. Wander historic streets before heading to Wave Rock, a 15-metre-high granite wave frozen in time. Travel southeast into Fitzgerald River National Park, a UNESCO-listed Biosphere Reserve known for rugged cliffs, wildflowers, and rare plant species. Camp at Four Mile Campground and enjoy dinner beneath southern skies.

Day 2: Fitzgerald River to Cape Le Grand National Park
Climb East Mount Barren for panoramic views before continuing to Esperance. Connect with Wudjari Nyungar guides on a Dabungool Cultural Experience, learning about seasons, bush foods and traditions. By afternoon, arrive in Cape Le Grand National Park. Camp at Lucky Bay, home to squeaky-white sands, turquoise water, and kangaroos bounding along the beach at sunset.

Day 3: Cape Le Grand National Park
Begin with sunrise on Lucky Bay’s sands alongside kangaroos. Hike Frenchman Peak, a short but steep trail rewarding hikers with 360° views across bays and islands. Spend the rest of the day exploring Cape Le Grand at your own pace—walk trails, swim in turquoise waters, or simply relax in paradise. End with another starry-night camp dinner.

Day 4: Cape Le Grand to Bremer Bay
After breakfast, bid farewell Cape Le Grand. Pause in Esperance and Ravensthorpe before reaching Bremer Bay, a peaceful coastal town framed by wild beaches. Stroll the estuary trail or climb a lookout for sweeping views, with the chance to spot migrating whales. Tonight, stay at Tozer’s Bush Camp, a rustic retreat tucked among native bushland.

Day 5: Bremer Bay to Hamelin Bay
Journey west through Albany to William Bay National Park. Swim at Greens Pool, framed by granite boulders, and wander among the striking Elephant Rocks. Continue into towering karri forests to visit the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree, once used as a fire lookout. Tonight, camp at Hamelin Bay Holiday Park, dining beside the ocean with waves as your soundtrack.

Day 6: Hamelin Bay to Perth via Margaret River
Walk a section of the Cape to Cape Track and meet Hamelin Bay’s famous stingrays gliding close to shore. In Margaret River, visit Surfers Point, explore the township, and enjoy tastings at two venues showcasing regional wine and produce. Conclude in Busselton with a stroll along the iconic jetty and Origins Market before returning to Perth in the evening.
