What to Expect on Your Perfect Day
1. Scenic Drive Through the Adelaide Hills (45 minutes)
Your day begins with a relaxing drive through rolling landscapes and lush vineyards. Enjoy the tranquil views as we set the tone for an indulgent day ahead.
2. Explore the Historic Charm of Hahndorf (1 hour 15 minutes)
Arriving in Australia’s oldest German settlement, you’ll step into a storybook village lined with quaint boutiques, artisan chocolate shops, and authentic German bakeries. Stroll the charming streets, browse handmade crafts, or enjoy a warm pastry and coffee at a traditional café.
3. A Taste of the Countryside at Beerenberg Farm ( 30 minutes ) (Seasonal activity)
Next, we visit Beerenberg Farm, home to Australia’s finest handmade jams and farm-fresh produce. Depending on the season, wander the strawberry fields and pick your own berries (entry included; strawberries are charged by weight at $12.50/kg). Don’t forget to browse the farm shop for delicious jams, sauces, and chutneys to take home.
4. Indulge in Premium Wine and a Gourmet Lunch
We continue into the heart of the Barossa Valley for a relaxed and flavourful lunch experience accompanied by boutique wine tastings at :
Kies Family Wines (90 minutes) – Enjoy a curated tasting and lunch at this family-owned winery, renowned for warm hospitality and elegant, handcrafted wines.
5. Sweet Treats at Barossa Valley Chocolate Company (15 minutes)
After lunch, we make a delightful stop at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company. Sample locally crafted chocolates, explore a wide variety of sweet treats, or enjoy a scoop of artisan gelato with vineyard views.
6. Discover Boutique Wines with a Unique Twist
Continue your Barossa experience with a final tasting at one of the region’s boutique wineries:
Château Dorrien (45 minutes) – Known for its fortified wines and meads, this charming cellar door is a hidden gem.
OR
Ubertas Wines (45 minutes) – Sample small-batch, minimal-intervention wines that express the true essence of Barossa’s terroir.

7. A Flavourful Finale at Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop (20 minutes )
