Pedal west along Ægissíða, one of Reykjavík’s most peaceful coastal paths. Ride past charming homes, sea birds, and fishing boats bobbing in the bay. This quiet stretch gives you that classic Icelandic blend of sea breeze and soul-soothing views.
Continue to the edge of the city and arrive at Grótta, the iconic lighthouse on the Seltjarnarnes peninsula. It’s a perfect place to stop, stretch, and take in the panoramic views of Faxaflói Bay, Mount Esja, and the endless North Atlantic. If you’re lucky, you might spot seals or seabirds.
