At Gullfoss waterfall, the tour shifts gears. Board the mighty Sleipnir Monster Truck for an exhilarating ride into the Icelandic Highlands. This custom-built glacier vehicle takes you safely across the vast expanse of Langjökull Glacier, Iceland’s second-largest ice cap.
Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights about the glacier’s formation, Icelandic highlands, folklore and geology. The highlight: stepping into a natural ice cave where clear blue ice meets ancient volcanic ash, creating mesmerizing patterns and colors.

Ice cave visits depend on glacier and weather conditions and may change, even after departure.
If the Monster Truck tour is cancelled the day before, we offer a new date or full refund. If cancelled after departure, a partial refund applies.
The ice cave walk is moderate; guests must handle uneven ground and narrow steps. Spikes provided.
Bring snacks and water. We recommend to bring packed lunch as the stop at Geysir for food is better spend for the visit of the hot spring.
Golden Circle tour runs in a small bus with driver-guide and narrated during the drive; explore Þingvellir, Geysir & Gullfoss on your own.
The Monster Truck tour is fully guided, also into the cave.
