What to expect
Start your day with our award winning Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon tour. See geological wonders such as steaming geysers, and roaring waterfalls. Bathe at the Secret Lagoon, Iceland´s oldest thermal pool. After a dinner break, we head out once more as we seek the elusive and magical Northern Lights.
The Golden Circle is one of Iceland’s most popular day tours, drawing visitors with its extraordinary geological wonders. We make it even better by combining its wonders with the serenity of the Secret Lagoon.
Our first stop is the breathtaking 6500 year old volcanic crater Kerið. Next we spend 2 hours at The Secret Lagoon - Iceland´s oldest pool, now thoughtfully renovated. Enjoy time unwinding in the warm waters and tranquil surroundings before we board the bus and continue to our next destination.
The journey continues to the Geysir Geothermal Area, where powerful hot springs erupt regularly into the air. The next highlight is Gullfoss Waterfall, the iconic “Golden Waterfall,” a dramatic two-tiered cascade and one of the largest and most breathtaking waterfalls in Iceland.
Our last stop is at Thingvellir National Park - rich in history as the original site of Iceland’s parliament but also geographically significant as the continental drift between the North American and Eurasian tectonic can be seen at the dramatic Álmannagjá canyon.
After the Golden Circle tour, we drop you back to Reykjavík, where you have a couple of hours free for dinner and relaxation.
Later join our evening aurora hunting tour. Your expert guides search for clear skies and the shimmering green northern lights, while telling old Icelandic folk tales about the lights.
