What to expect
Join us on an immersive culinary journey curated by Taste of Westfjords and hosted at Bubbly Bistro located in the heart of Ísafjörður.
You will be greeted by Dr Rachelle Elliott who will present this one-hour-long experience consisting of five traditional dishes. As you taste each dish, you will learn how the Icelandic food heritage evolved to sustain local communities in this harsh, untamed environment, and continues to hold a place in contemporary Icelandic cuisine.
Ingredients are sourced from regional quality producers and prepared by restauranteur Oddur Andri Thomasson. As this is an historically authentic menu, dietary requirements cannot be accommodated. The tasting includes meat, fish, shellfish, dairy, wheat, and alcohol (legal drinking age in Iceland is 20 years of age).
As an intimate, story-telling experience, each session is available to a minimum of 15 guests and limited to a maximum of 25 guests.
