Laugavegur Photography Jeep Tour – Capture Iceland’s Wild Heart
Join us for an unforgettable journey through the Icelandic highlands, designed especially for those who want to explore the land through the lens. This tour gives you the time and space to truly capture Iceland’s raw, dramatic beauty — from volcanic landscapes to colorful mountains and glacial panoramas.
Your adventure begins in a Super Jeep, heading toward the legendary Hekla Volcano — once known as the Gateway to Hell. From there, we venture through the rugged Dómadalur Valley, past the striking crater lakes Frostastaðavatn and Ljótipollur, each offering mirror-like reflections and vivid hues perfect for photography.
Next, we reach one of Iceland’s crown jewels — Landmannalaugar — famous for its vibrant rhyolite mountains, steaming geothermal fields, and natural hot springs framed by black lava fields. After ample time to explore and photograph, we continue along the famous Laugavegur Trail, descending into Reykjadalir Valley, where geothermal vents and colorful hills set the stage for even more incredible shots.
As we approach the end of the route, the mighty glaciers Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull rise into view, offering breathtaking panoramas. Our journey concludes near Emstrur Hut, with sweeping views of the Þórsmörk Valley and Markarfljótsgljúfur Canyon — the perfect finale for an unforgettable day of exploration and photography.
