What to expect
We stop by all the major tourist attractions, plus a lot more. On the Golden Circle, we start by stopping at the best bakery in Iceland, Mosfellsbakarí. Here you can buy yourselves a cup of coffee, the best hot chocolate, or tea and some delicious treats. When accessible, we take the longer scenic route, driving by Hafravatn lake, Nesjavallaleið, and Grafningur to Þingvellir. Þingvellir is a UNESCO site for the history and geology. You stand on a viewing platform looking over to another tectonic plate! At Gullfoss Falls you see Iceland's second-largest waterfall, a two-step waterfall 11 meters and 22 meters high and over 100 meters wide. The spouting geyser Strokkur spouts up to 30 meters, or almost 100 feet. We also visit the blue waterfall Brúarfoss and the crater Kerið. On the way, we stop by a place where you can feed the Icelandic horse.
In summer, we go to a place where you can fill your water bottles with clean, pure water from a spring.
The tour starts at 8:30 a.m., and we get you back to Reykjavik between 5 and 5:30 p.m.
