What to expect
Enjoy a scenic sit-on-top kayak trip down Svartá-river in close proximity with the Icelandic nature. During the relaxed tour down the calm river you will get a chance to paddle your way through exciting fjords and get carried away by gentle streams of the river. This tour has been one of the most popular ones renowned for immersing guests into Icelandic beauty.
Check in at Bakkaflöt where you will put on dry-pants, jacket and life-vest. You will then be driven 15 minutes upriver from Bakkaflöt where you will receive instructions on paddling and river safety. Your guides are international experienced guides who know the river and streams by heart. After the trip it is necessary to relax in our hot tubs.
It's a good recreational activity for anyone at any skill level. You have to be at least 12 years unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please specify when booking if you will be bringing individuals younger than 12.
